Out of Office

On Saturday January 11th, we'll embark on a 2 and 1/2 year trip around the planet. On a boat. Going about 5 miles per hour.

The Plan

Below is our route for the first half of the trip! We will leave with the World ARC Rally of 30 boats full of sailors, adventurers, kids being home schooled and parents who decided to take the leap with them.

We will stop half way around and allow the ARC Rally to continue on without us. We'll do this because we all want more time in this area of the world (Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Viet Nam, Japan, etc). So for one full year we are going to drink up the views, their culture, cuisine, and customs.

The good news is that the ARC Rally runs every year. So the next year when they're passing through Mackay, Australia we can hop on with them, and complete the circumnavigation to “Tie The Knot”.
