An Annoying Little Death

The Universe doesn’t care. The Earth is like … meh. But for me, after SO much expectation and anticipation, the frustration is like wearing a wet canvas burka on a thick 95% humidity day in late summer Alabama. It weighs so heavy on your heart.

It’s a little death.

We all have them. Those things we yearned for, longed, worked, watched, and waited for but they just. never. happened. And after being hollowed out by it, we’re forced to simply grieve it and leave it, because life moves on and you have new decisions you have to show up for.
